Years 5 and 6: Analysing more complex texts with an emphasis on critical thinking and summarising key points, exploring various genres and text types. Students will develop essay writing skills, including planning, drafting, and editing, with a focus on advanced grammar, punctuation, and expanding vocabulary for more sophisticated writing.
